Recruiters sometimes passively post jobs on their company websites to invite applications from job seekers. Despite the many applications, recruiters keep hiring because they always want to connect and engage potential employees. Active recruitment assures them of the best candidate including those who are not actively seeking for a job but may be interested if they saw a job post.
How to persuade the CEO that it is a sound investment
To get the CEO on board, I would make my case by showing the measurable upside to investing in a recruitment platform upgrade and the measurable downside. I would demonstrate how the right technology can help you conserve time, increase productivity, reduce costs and secure the best hires. For instance, if my company value referral as a way of recruiting, I would explain to the CEO that employees recruited by referrals stay with a company longer than those hired through other sources, helping them see why a comprehensive platform is essential for pinpointing long term hires.
How organizations brand affect its attractiveness
The public acuity of a company brand is more important now that the job market is in recovery seen. The elements of the brand that matter most include the salary benefits, the job security, and the pleasant work atmosphere. Additionally how a company is evolved regarding technology is a key factor of consideration to many employees. This is because jobs advertised on the company’s website are deemed more authentic than jobs printed on papers. Therefore, most employees prefer companies with websites rather than businesses that are still archaic regarding technology.
What could a recruiter do to fit my interest?
For a recruiter to interest me in applying a company I have never heard of, he or she must t use strong language. He should do it professionally by outlining the key benefits of working in a particular company. He should clearly state the location of the enterprise and how effective will it be considering my current place of stay. He can use tactics such as telling me how competitive the company salary is, convincing me about the effectiveness of the company regarding my health as well as highlighting the level of assurance of the job security.
Characteristics of a recruiter that matter most
Recruiting the best candidate is the core of every staffing and recruiting company. Order to ensure the quality of candidates your team is engaging, it’s always wise not t overlook the value of a good recruiter
· A skilled recruiter. I consider a recruiter who is well versed with the qualities of the job in question. A recruiter who can make the recruiting process complete is the one I prefer most.
· Digital recruiter. With the advancement in technology, my preference goes to the recruiter who can use the modern technology in his or her businesses. For instance, a recruiter who is looking for applicants through the internet and considers recruiting through certain online recruiting applications is the one I prefer most.
· Networking. I always believe recruiters who can create networks with their potential employees. A recruiter who always makes an effort to contact his potential candidates is the one I prefer most. Networking is a great way for recruiters to source candidates, and it creates a larger talent pool for your company.
· A recruiter who is business minded. This is because your firm and your customers are running a business. I consider having a recruiter who as armed with knowledge about your company will be able to give you the best candidate for recruitment.
The only way to maximize productivity and profit in an organization is through hiring the best people for your customers. If you hire recruiters who possess the above characteristics above, getting a flow of quality candidates should be easier ever than before.
