If you were to add one more to this list that had an equal impact on human kind, which additional innovation would you like to see Steven Johnson report on and why?

Your Answer:

I'd like to see him do a report on the development of the mail system and also a report on who invented paper. Paper was used to communicate other than verbally and was far more advance than a physical messenger riding off to deliver a message. The mail system was designed to send correspondence and packages like gifts or products all over the world. Messages use to be sent by birds so I am very curious as to how the mail system developed.
