In the Excel file Weddings, determine the correlation between the wedding costs and attendance.
Complete the problem as written with the following exceptions:
Include a scatter chart.
Interpret the correlation (positive, negative, weak, strong, none).
The correlation between the wedding costs and attendance is 0.733. This indicates a strong positive relationship between wedding costs and attendance. This means that, the higher the wedding costs, the more the attendance. In other words, as the wedding costs increase so do the attendance number.
As indicated in the graph above, its evidence there is a positive correlation between wedding costs and attendance. As the wedding costs increases so does the attendance.
